The Bridge Translation Partnership – Kevin Bridge BA MCIL CL MRAeS

My name is Kevin Bridge BA MCIL CL MRAeS and I am a native English speaker. I was educated at the University of Portsmouth and I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Russian and Soviet Studies, with a focus on written translation and interpreting, as well as area studies. In my third year at university I spent time studying in St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk, and following graduation I lived and worked in Krasnodar, Southern Russia. My travels gave me a good deal of experience in living, working, and studying in the former Soviet Union.

I have been working in translation at a high level since 2007 after working as a professional Linguist and Russian language expert for 5 years. This has meant I have gained considerable experience in completing high quality translation of research work conducted by specialist engineers and historians for the publishing industry, as an example of one of the sectors in which I work.

The Bridge Translation Partnership is able to offer high-quality translation, transcreation, proofreading and editing from Russian to British and American English. Through a panel of expert native speaker translators we are also able to offer translation from English to Russian. We are exceptionally well networked and cover aviation and aeronautics, defence, the media, publishing and academia, translation and transcreation for business and individuals, and proofreading and editing, in Russia and beyond. In our work for the publishing industry we have translated groundbreaking work on metallurgy, and electrical power engineering as well as bringing original unpublished historical research to English-speaking readers for the first time.

The Bridge Translation Partnership is founded on quality and accuracy as well as tailoring translation to suit a client’s requirements.
