Proofreading and Editing
Proofreading and editing of a text is equally as important as translation.
I am able to edit and proofread translations in a wide variety of fields: from editing technical documentation and scientific articles to fiction literature and marketing texts.
The following works stand out among the most notable and voluminous proofreading and editing projects:
- Proofreading the English translation of Marietta Chudakova’s book “Mikhail Bulgakov: The Life and Times,” which was published by Glagoslav Publications in 2019.
- Proofreading a number of other books published by Glagoslav, including: Zygmunt Krasinski’s “Dramatic Works,” and Sergei Tretyakov’s collection of plays published in English for the first time: “I Want a Baby and Other Plays,” as well as Srdan Srdic’s work “Combustions.”
- In addition I was the Linguistic Editor for Igor Ashurbeyli’s book “The Development of Aerospace Defence in the 20th Century,” published by the Aerospace International Research Centre (AIRC) in Vienna, in 2016.
